The Role
Do you dream about writing software along with a team with the talent, passion, and financial backing to build killer, industry-changing cloud-based applications and platforms? Veeva is looking for a passionate Software Engineer to work at our Hyderabad location. You’ll work in the Automation Engineering team, which utilizes modern technologies and best practices to deliver seamless releases to all our Vault customers. Vault is a proven, cloud-based development platform to manage documents and related data while automating tasks and processes across the organization. Vault applications are purpose-built using the platform to provide a single source of truth with complete visibility and increased compliance on a single cloud platform.What You’ll DoPossess deep knowledge of Veeva products such as Vault and its applicationsContribute towards reducing the test automation backlog in Serenity and Cypress (if necessary)Work with leads to arrive at metrics for measuring the code quality for the test automation suiteReview code written by team members and suggest optimizationMentor junior team members to resolve the technical issues they faceCreating an automation test plan and review with functional QACreating, Enhancing, Debugging, and Running Test CasesOrganizing, and monitoring defect management process, handling changes and conducting regression testsFind solutions for issues related to object identity issues and error handlingCoordinate with automation and the development team to solve the issuesCreate a software defect tracking report entire project release status to stakeholdersUnderstand the different types of Jenkins Jobs and make the team monitor their module resultsAnalyze the Jenkins failure identify the root cause and make the team understand the root causeCoordinate with the QA manager to update the statusRequirementsExperience in the fields of Software Testing, Test Automation, and/or Software Development with Advanced level of Test Automation. Total experience of 7+ yearsExperience in Cucumber or Selenium framework or similar, with working knowledge in CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, JIRA)Experience in API / Service layer testing (POSTMAN)Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologiesExcellent team collaboration and communication skillsAbility to solve complex test automation tasks beyond the standard capabilities of test automation toolsAbility to perform test automation tool evaluations in focus areaAbility to set test automation on the projectExperience in Java, and JavaScript programmingFamiliarity with Linux/AWSNice to HaveFull-time experience in Software Automation and/or DevOpsProficient with CI tools such as JenkinsExperience with source code version control systems such as GitSolid understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologiesComputer Science or related bachelor’s degree Perks & BenefitsAllocations for continuous learning & developmentHealth insurance with generous coverage limitsFixed bonus in the form of RSUs and Stock optionsAllowance for wellness & fitness programsWinter breakVeeva’s headquarters is located in the San Francisco Bay Area with offices in more than 15 countries around the world.
