You Are:
UST is looking for a Senior Software Engineering Lead that acts creatively to develop applications by selecting appropriate technical options optimizing application development maintenance and performance by employing design patterns and reusing proven solutions. Account for others' developmental activities; assisting Project Manager in day-to-day project execution.
The Opportunity:
· Collaborate with product owners and other stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements.
· Own the Integration testing and understand the gaps.
· Write clean, efficient, and well-structured code using best practices.
· Identify the most effective and creative solutions to various types of problems.
· Write optimized quality code that is easily maintainable.
· Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the related systems.
· Take complete ownership of projects, coordinating associated engineering activities, ensuring timely delivery and meeting quality expectations.
This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.
What you need:
At least 12-14 years and in following areas:
· Very crucial and key to success is to have strong experience of at least 5 years in leading a team of 10-15 very senior to senior developers across multiple projects simultaneously.
· At least 5 years of experience in leading technical teams across multiple geographies i.e. US, Canada, Mexico and India.
· Should have offshore coordination experience.
· The key to success in role is also to be patient, out of the box thinker who can win confidence of team based on his technical depth and thought process, and provide technical help, mentorship to team as well innovative solution, software design to technical problems and further guide team to implement them.
· Should have attitude to own the applications/ solutions and delivery end-to-end with no to minimal oversight from client leadership.
· Should have good experience in designing enterprise level software dependent on multiple upstream systems and processes and have impact on various downstream business critical applications.
· Very positive to have prior experience with system of records like Salesforce, Workday etc.
· This person is required to be fully hands-on on the areas described below and expected to work on own user stories independently.
· Solid C# coding experience and expertise in Azure Service Bus, Logic Apps and Azure Function App.
· Very hands-on experience in RESTful services (API) to develop standard APIs for consumer applications, at the enterprise level.
· Solid experience working with MongoDB or other alike databases.
· Solid technical communication and coordination skillset required to coordinate with other technology teams to understand their needs and fine tune APIs per consuming apps expectations.
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.
Role Location: Illinois
Compensation Range: $95,000-$143,750

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
