Principal responsibilities
• Building a high-performance team in accordance with the principles of the QA QE capability in Wholesale Digital IT
• Provide technical expertise in Test Automation, Testing Methodologies, Testing Processes, Tools and Techniques across the teams
• Focus on Continuous Testing automation adoption and QA/QE improvement ensuring digital deliverables meet business requirements and are fit for purpose to release to customers
• Manage training and continuous learning of QA/QE staff by means of short courses, meetups, certification etc. with robust approach to performance management that leads to high quality outcomes
• Operate within QA QE broader transformation governance structures
• Be an escalation point for all matters related to testing, identify key risks, issues and interdependencies and provide appropriate mitigation strategies as appropriate
• Monitoring of all the QA activities, test results, leaked defects, root cause analysis and identifying areas of improvement. Implement steps required to improve the processes
• Gather and present testing metrics and testing activities of the projects to key stakeholders
• Ensuring that development teams adhere to the principles, guidelines and best practices of the QA strategy as defined
• Work with external data sources and industry trends to ensure that cross browser and device coverage accurately reflects customer usage, standardizing this but accounting for any specific regional anomalies
• Support audit / independent programmer assessments as required

• Must have strong knowledge and hands-on experience working on digital functional testing and non-functional performance testing, strong understanding of commercial banking product lifecycle various business processes involved
• Extensive experiences with Test Automation are must
• Proven experiences of Agile development and QA/QE practices including knowledge of the CI/CD/CT pipeline
• Proven experiences in developing automated custom QE tests using various automated test tools e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Karate etc.
• Knowledge of the Testing process, including but not limited to Functional testing, Non-Functional testing, User Acceptance testing, Cross-browser and Cross-device testing
• Knowledge of Risk Management, Risk Identification and Risk Based Testing
• Good understanding of systems architecture and monitoring technologies
• Previous working experience in digital migration projects would be an advantage
• Innovative – the ability to approach things differently or do different things to deliver goals.
• Be an advocate of Quality Assurance, Continuous Improvement and industry recognized best practices
• Strong interpersonal skills to help communicate testing issues across all levels
