Senior Software Engineering Manager - (M5)
We are seeking a hands-on leader to join our team as a Senior Software Engineering Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for building and leading a talented team of engineers, planning and executing software development projects, and delivering software releases for both internal and external customers. You will navigate a dynamic work environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams and global counterparts to ensure the effective delivery of solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** + Lead a team of engineers in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and robust software solutions for semiconductor equipment. + Work closely with systems and hardware engineers to integrate software solutions with hardware components. + Deliver high-quality software releases on time for internal and external customers. + Interface with internal and external customers for requirement analysis, project scheduling, and software troubleshooting. + Develop and grow the engineering skills within the team. + Manage the team’s activities within an Agile/Scrum environment. + Own and drive software design, feature development, verification, and release of solutions to customers. + Address critical issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams by building productive relationships. **Qualifications:** + Hands-on experience in developing software that interfaces with hardware. + Demonstrated experience in hiring, managing, growing, structuring, and leading software engineering teams. + Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies. + Excellent project management skills with the ability to execute roadmap commitments. + Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and global counterparts. + Experience in a hands-on software development in C/C++/C#/Java/Python, with architectural leadership role. + Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. + Highly motivated, passionate, proactive, and willing to roll up your sleeves to get the job done. + Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering or similar fields with 15+ years of experience and 5+ years of experience in Semiconductor equipment industry. **Qualifications** **Education:** Bachelor's Degree **Skills:** **Certifications:** **Languages:** **Years of Experience:** 10 - 15 Years **Work Experience:** **Additional Information** **Time Type:** Full time **Employee Type:** Assignee / Regular **Travel:** Yes, 10% of the Time **Relocation Eligible:** Yes **U.S. Salary Range:** $204,000.00 - $280,500.00 The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable. For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
