A Mobile Application Senior Developer is responsible for supporting the software integration implementation for the next generation of home appliances.** **Your responsibilities will include** + **Implement application for iOS platform as per requirements** + **Fix the issues on existing iOS apps.** + **Awareness of Android.** + **Constantly aim to improve application performance.** + **Ability to coordinate with the Hardware Team to interface applications from both ends.** + **Contribute to the definition of the mobile application development design specification** + **Anticipate business needs and propose efficient technology solutions to requirements** + **Identify and escalate potential concerns related to project initiatives and recommend viable solutions** + **Stay updated with technology and industry best practices to ensure that skill set/knowledge base remains broad and current** **Minimum requirements** **BE/ BTECH (Comp Sc/ IT) or equivalent from reputed institutes** **Preferred skills and experiences** + **5+ experience developing enterprise class mobile apps for iOS.** + **Strong experience in mobile application low level design specification** + **Proficiency in implementing secure, transitional applications integrated with web-based services.** + **Strong knowledge in implementing mobile applications in product domain.** + **Need to clear concepts of multithreading, memory management specific to mobile devices, GCM notification.** + **Hands-on with object oriented design programming skills in Swift including MVVM or MVX or Clean architecture using iOS SDK (UIKit, Cocoa Touch, Core Data, Core Location etc).** + **Basic understanding of Hybrid application development using third party mobile development tools.** **Additional information** **Language : Swift, Rx Swift, Objective C, iOS SDK, Java, J2EE, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript** **Dependency managers : Cocoapods, SPM, Gradle, Maven** **Design Pattern : MVVM, MVVM-C, MVX, Singleton pattern, Class hierarchy, layered architecture** **Application Tools : Xcode, Instruments, Eclipse, ADB, Github, JSON Client UI** **Database : Realm DB, SQLite, MySQL, MS SQL Server** Connect with us and learn more about Whirlpool Corporation See what it's like to work at Whirlpool by visiting Whirlpool Careers (http://www.whirlpoolcareers.com/) .
