Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software QA Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a member of our team, you will be a key contributor to the design, development, and maintenance of our web services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable web services that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

 

What you will do

Collaborate with product managers, scrum team members, and architects to implement QA testing strategy. Design, develop, and maintain software automation test suites, ensuring they meet high-quality standards and performance benchmarks. Create and execute manual testing procedures to validate data quality through well-structured test plans and test cases. Analyze, troubleshoot, and debug product defects and provide timely solutions to customer issues. Contribute to architectural decisions and help drive technical innovation within the team. Understand compliance standards and ensure deliverables meet industry expectations. Develop a deep understanding of PKI products, architecture, and systems.

 

What you will have

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of professional experience in a software quality assurance or development role. Proficiency in the Java programming languages and a strong grasp of software testing methodologies. Expertise developing, consuming, and evolving RESTful web services. Knowledge of both relational (MySQL, MariaDB) and NoSQL/non-relational (Cassandra) databases. Proficiency in containerization with Docker and expertise in container orchestration utilizing Kubernetes and Helm. Experience with software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and address complex technical issues. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Experience testing cloud native applications, services-based architecture, DevOps principles and continuous deployment. Understanding of secure coding practices and methodologies.

 

Nice to have

Experience with C++ programming language. Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
