Senior Software Quality Analyst
Location: Europe-Based (Office/ Hybrid/ Remote).
Position Summary:
The Advanced Visualization team at Bentley Systems is seeking a Senior Software Quality Analyst. At Bentley Systems, we provide solutions for complex engineering projects, supporting users who design, build, and operate global infrastructure. Understanding their needs is crucial, and the Unreal Developer plays a vital role in this.
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Quality Analyst with expertise in automated QA and testing to join our team. As a member of the Development team, you will leverage your expertise to enhance advanced 3D visualization experiences for architects, urban planners, and other engineering professionals, focusing on testing strategies and test automation.
We value initiative, attention to detail, critical analysis of testing processes, and a willingness to explore new methods to improve efficiency and quality.
We will rely on you for the following:
Design, develop, and execute automated tests for Unreal Engine products. Work closely with development teams to identify, document, and track bugs and performance issues using tracking systems such as Jira or DevOps. Setting standards and leading the performance and automated testing effort. Work with the QA team to integrate automated tests into the overall testing strategy. Ensuring that test environments are up-to-date and cost-effective. Analyze and optimize game performance, including memory, rendering, and physics systems. Debug and troubleshoot issues in real-time environments to maintain performance targets. Provide clear documentation for testing processes
What You Bring to The Team:
6+ years of professional experience as QA with Unreal Engineer Products Experience with QA Tools such as Automation Systems, Functional Test Frameworks, and Debug Tools. Strong experience in testing methodologies and best practices for game/software development. Experience with Bug-tracking tools such as Jira or DevOps. Experience with Automation tools such as Selenium or SikuliX Experience with Testing frameworks (e.g., Unreal Automation Tool). Strong communication and collaboration skills. Experience with version control systems Git, and Perforce. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and testing integrations
What would make you stand out:
Experience in VR/AR development. Knowledge of shader/material creation and optimization. Familiarity with scripting languages like Python for automation tasks. Familiarity with shipping AAA or indie games.
Note: Open to candidates with experience in Unreal Engine as a Software Engineer, with a mixed role involving both development and automation.
