Senior Software Quality Engineer Key Responsibilities: Define and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans for products in the CMC D&T family, ensuring alignment with GSK’s security, quality and regulatory standards. Collaborate with product, engineering and QA teams to design and maintain automated and manual testing processes that drive high-quality software delivery. Coordinate testing efforts, including both functional and non-functional testing, across CMC D&T product teams using a risk-based approach. Monitor progress and report on test coverage and quality metrics, ensuring alignment with project goals. Assess current testing processes to identify gaps and implement improvements that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of quality assurance. Investigate test failures, work with development teams to identify root causes, and ensure timely issue resolution. Use modern tools, such as mocking frameworks and automated testing suites, to ensure reliable and scalable testing environments. Why you? Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in software testing, including both manual and automated testing. Proven proficiency with testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, k6, and familiarity with CI/CD workflows and integration of testing in DevOps pipelines. Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud services. Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, testing methodologies, and test automation frameworks. Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with a proven ability to work across diverse teams and align stakeholders toward common goals. Master’s degree in a STEM field (Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or equivalent professional experience. Preferred qualifications: Hands-on experience in app testing within regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, healthcare, finance, or medical devices.
