As a Test automation engineer, you will work in a product development team that develops highly configurable software in a collaborative environment employing agile development methodologies. As an individual contributor, you participate in the entire life cycle of product development and contribute to build quality product offerings. In conjunction with development engineers, you will design and implement strategies and tools for efficient and comprehensive automated testing.
Under guidance, assists in testing application components, software tools, and utilities required for the operation, maintenance, and control of computer systems. Helps validate existing software to work following Business Requirements and create required documentation for regular validation.
Responsibilities:
Test planning & Design, Test Execution and Reporting.Understand the system design to contribute to the development of the project and ensure the quality of the result.Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge of approaches, tools and platforms in the area of software test automation.Works with teams to standardize/adopt technology and automation best practices.Work with developers, leads, CSR to understand underlying architecture and code to develop test strategies across different layers of the application.Communicate and report out the testing efforts and technical aspects of projects.Desired Technical Experience:
Experience on product testing in Agile environment; should know the various stages of product release & QA support needed for deployment validation and testing in production.3+ years of experience with testing desktop, web-based, plugin-based, clients on the Microsoft C#/.NET/SQL Server technology stack.Experience in automation development of automated system functional scripts. 5+ years of experience in Selenium with C#.Desired to have working experience on Coded UI. --- Impact if not filled---As mentioned, we do not have any consultant working as an automation engineer for Axcess Practice team.
