Nokia is a leader in 3G wireless mobility networks, with more than 200 live customers all around the world, serving more than 1 billion mobile subscribers. Our team specializes in cloud deployment, focusing on template design, implementation, and testing for Nokia’s Cloud MSS product line against Nokia proprietary, OpenStack and VMware technology. Our team works in Scrum, and we use SAFe to scale our organization, delivering software iteratively and incrementally. Our organization is fully located at Budapest, our product being developed here for more than 25 years already already.
 

You have:

Finished or ongoing Master or Bachelor-level studies in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Software Technology or equivalent educationCritical/system thinkingWrite scripts / specification for test automation3+ years or 4+ projects experience with OpenStack and/or VMware systemsAnsible, terraform or similar technology experienceBasic Linux or networking knowledgeSupport Prototype testing and quality reportingParticipate in the improvement/optimization processAbility to autonomously perform tasks within guidelines and policiesStrong communication skills and the ability to interact with peers and project stakeholders and to clearly articulate the test progressGood spoken and written English

It would be nice if you also had:

3G network technologyFamiliarity with Agile MethodologiesExperience with basic shell and Python scriptingContinuous integration and continuous delivery CI/CD understandingOS Windows & Linux, network administration knowledge

 

What you will learn and contribute to

As a Test Engineer you will have a key contribution to the SW evolution of Nokia's MSS product and play a vital role in the functional feature testing of SW releases, promoting the team’s principles for quality, left-shifting and incremental product delivery.
