About the role:
Barry Callebaut Digital (BC Digital) is on a mission to lead the digital revolution in the chocolate industry, and we're looking for a Senior Solution Architect Maintenance laying the foundation for software development projects and solution designs for our digital maintenance solutions. Reporting to the Senior Director Digital Manufacturing, you will drive and oversee the creation of architectural blueprints for maintenance processes (within Forecast to Stock Operations), review the implementation of user stories in line with the solution design and guidelines, and support the creation of tender documents. You will also evaluate architectural changes and contribute to the further development of processes and standards within the company enhancing our differentiating digital capabilities.
Key responsibilities:
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to design technical solutions based on business needs, Act as the main point of contact for system and software architecture, ensuring alignment with maintenance processes, Create and optimize solution designs in line with best practices and Enterprise Architecture guidelines, Provide technical guidance to development teams and conduct code quality reviews, Present architectural designs to stakeholders, ensuring they address business needs, Analyze risks, create technical specifications, and support security measures implementation.About you:
Graduate degree in IT, technology, computer science, or a related field, Minimum 7 years of experience as a Solution Architect or similar role, Advanced knowledge in maintenance tools and SAP best practices, Strong understanding of IT architecture management and trends, Proven success in working with diverse teams and driving change globally, Excellent English proficiency and strong communication skills, Experience with IBM Maximo and shopfloor operations.
