Job Summary:
We are seeking a mature and experienced Senior Solution Expert to manage and optimize trade processes through digital transformation, as well as oversee process automation for Agilent's Global Trade. The ideal candidate will act as a lead and collaborate closely with several Global Trade teams to enable seamless business process and technology improvements, enhancing efficiency and compliance in global trade operations. Candidate will execute assigned projects and continue to evolve skills in order to support continuous digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and execute automation initiatives across the Global Trade business, perform process workflow analysis and process mapping to ensure projects are completed on time.
Quantifying expected benefits of improvements, including:
Mining available data sources to demonstrate projects savings.
Capturing qualitative gains such as improved compliance, reduced disruption, and enhanced predictability.
Internal and external customer satisfaction gains.
Work closely with global trade and management, business solutions, and other teams to identify automation opportunities and implement solutions.
Analyze current processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and automation, aiming to increase efficiency and reduce manual efforts.
A structured approach to process and system improvements; assessing, recommending, and providing solution options with ultimate goal of improvement, increasing efficiency, and enabling longer-term sustainability.
Execute per defined Agilent processes and committed to ensuring clarity and alignment.
Holistic solution approach: considering processes as a whole not only focused on requirements submitted, providing a long-term sustainable solution.
Digital mindset: always looking at opportunities to automate, streamline and support ongoing Digital transformation
Ensure all automation processes comply with company policies and procedures. Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with automation.
Manage project life cycle by ensuring timely delivery and achievement of key milestones. Conduct regular reviews and validations with stakeholders.
Provide training and support to team members on new automations. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, challenges, and successes.
QualificationsQualifications:
Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in Global Trade operations management, with at least 2-3 years in a senior role within the global trade or logistics industry.
MBA in foreign trade/ international business and/or bachelor’s in computer science/engineering or similar.
Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams of internal departments and customers to achieve results.
Systems experience with ERPs (SAP ECC & CRM) and relevant trade applications (SAP GTS) preferred.
Working knowledge in VBA, Power Automate, Power BI and other automation/AI tools will be added advantage
Strong leadership and project management skills, with a proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
Understanding of global trade regulations and compliance requirements.
Continuous development attitude, both self-development and skills development based on assignments

This job has a full time weekly schedule.Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
