Team Overview
SAP Intelligent Spend solutions, encompassing SAP Ariba, SAP Fieldglass, and SAP Business Network, lead the industry in cloud-based spend management, empowering organizations to simplify business commerce worldwide. 

 

Role Overview
As a Senior Solution Sales Executive for SAP Intelligent Spend, you will play a key role in driving SAP’s growth by engaging with procurement and supply chain leaders within large enterprise accounts. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver value-driven SAP Spend Management Cloud solutions, accelerating our customers’ digital transformation and unlocking substantial business value.

 

Key Responsibilities
•    Generate New Business: Develop and execute a sales strategy to create demand, manage a pipeline, and secure new business opportunities within assigned enterprise accounts.
•    Drive Value Propositions: Craft persuasive solution presentations and opportunity plans that address the specific needs and goals of prospective clients, aligning SAP's offerings with their business objectives.
•    Market Analysis: Conduct thorough white space and market analyses to identify and pursue potential growth opportunities within target accounts.
•    Collaborate on Sales Campaigns: Partner with extended account and industry teams to design and implement impactful sales campaigns that advance opportunities and optimize client engagements.
•    Account Expansion: Cultivate strong relationships with customer stakeholders to expand existing accounts and drive additional business in collaboration with SAP’s partner ecosystem.
•    Customer Insight: Leverage deep expertise in business operations, strategic priorities, and end-to-end processes to provide valuable insights and guidance to clients.
•    Competitive Awareness: Stay informed of SAP's competitive landscape, identifying and communicating SAP’s unique value drivers to address client needs.
•    Build Community Engagement: Promote customer engagement in SAP’s relevant communities, programs, and events, strengthening customer connections and facilitating knowledge sharing.

 

Preferred Qualifications
•    Proven Sales Success: Demonstrated track record in enterprise software sales in a quota carrying role.
•    Industry Expertise: Minimum of 5 years of direct sales experience in enterprise software, preferably with a focus on business application software.
•    Executive Relationship-Building: Strong ability to establish credibility, build trust, and develop influential relationships with C-Level executives.
•    Collaborative Mindset: Skilled in working cross-functionally and coordinating with a diverse team to drive complex sales pursuits.
•    Large Deal Expertise: Experience managing large transactions and navigating challenging, high-stakes sales processes.
•    Client-Centric Value Propositions: Proficiency in identifying strategic client challenges/pain points and delivering compelling value propositions that emphasize measurable business outcomes.
•    Domain Knowledge: Expertise in Procurement and/or Supply Chain management is advantageous.
