The Senior Solution Specialist - Workday role, as part of the People Platforms team, is to provide in-depth functional development, and ongoing support and maintenance for the global Workday platform, ensuring that current and future business requirements are adding value and are fully delivered.  They will also provide in depth business process support to the business when scoping requirements to ensure optimal value delivery exploiting best practice Workday solutions.

The role will work closely with business stakeholders, the platform lead and IT architecture teams to help shape the Workday roadmap. The role will configure the system alongside the internal team or strategic partners to deliver long term value. They will work closely with other Platform teams to ensure joined up designs and solutions. Ability to plan, prepare and execute systems and other staged testing, required to confirm readiness of developed changes for release to live production environments.

Your responsibilities:

Guiding the HR Functional team in all aspects of Workday with the focus on translating technical terms into Functional/HR terminology with workable solutions

Ensure the platform is secure, scalable, and high performing, monitoring key metrics and KPIs, identifying and addressing issues, and proactively identifying opportunities to optimize performance and enhance the customer experience

Oversee configuration reviews within the team and suppliers by inculcating new ways of thinking to improve design, quality etc. to drive higher engineering productivity and quality while driving standardisation and modularisation 

Oversee Production L3 support to HR & Business for Workday Technical incidents and requests, liaising with vendors, where needed and providing timely resolution within agreed SLA’s

Ability to configure Workday functionality to meet agreed Change Requests/requirements within their areas of specialism

Ensure optimisation of the engineering lifecycle through a systematic knowledge management and continuous learning process to better enable the organization to meet market and client needs 

Requirements for the role:

Highly experienced Workday qualified professional with experience across multiple projects, along with ongoing application maintenance and support (5+ years' experience)

Be a subject matter expert as a Workday Functional Specialist. Minimum of three Workday modules – with working knowledge across all modules, including integrations and security

Excellent business analysis skills in a highly regulated industry e.g., chemical, manufacturing, or pharmaceutical

Experience in navigating complexity - proactively and quickly making sense of complex issues; responding effectively to complex and ambiguous situations; communicating complicated information simply

Ability to initiate action - taking prompt action to accomplish objectives; taking action to achieve goals beyond what is required; being proactive. 

How you will be rewarded:

Salary range for this position is from 48,500 to 72,500 EUR per year depending on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies.
