Key job responsibilities
As Solutions Architect (SA) in AWS Industries, you will partner with some of the world's largest Automotive and Manufacturing companies, to craft highly scalable, flexible and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of AWS services. You will interface with both senior executive leaders and cloud architects on a daily basis to build relationships and enable them as cloud advocates. You will help the customer design advanced cloud-based solutions, implement cutting-edge technologies, adopt cloud best practice designs, and migrate existing enterprise workloads to the cloud. You will partner with various AWS teams to craft highly scalable, flexible and resilient cloud architectures that solve customer business problems, build mindshare, and accelerate the adoption of AWS services. In collaboration with the sales team, you will drive customer satisfaction and revenue growth across a wide portfolio of industries.

The ability to connect technologies to measurable business value is a critical skill for the SA role. You should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business challenges and articulate technical solutions to solve those problems. As part of the broader SA community you will capture and share best practices with your peers, generate internal and external technical content, and participate in hiring activities to grow the community.


A day in the life
In your role as a Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for managing the technical relationship between customers and AWS. You'll make recommendations related to security, cost, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency. This will involve understanding customer business needs and providing guidance on how to leverage technology for business value. You'll collaborate with various teams, including account management, professional services, support, product teams, and the AWS partner ecosystem.
