OverviewSummary
The Senior Solutions Architect – Cyber Security is responsible for solving cyber security business challenges for C1’s customers with Outcome Based solutions that includes strategic products and services. The Senior Solutions Architect resource is well versed in all market offerings in their area of expertise and works closely with the account team to ensure full accuracy of the solution design during the lifecycle of the sale. Additionally, this position can explain, position, and justify costs related to C1’s solutions.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions
Understands customer's cyber security business goals, risk tolerance, and existing infrastructure through a variety of steps including workshops, analyzing their current security posture, and identify gaps to help drive client outcomesProvides solution consulting, technical architecture and sales support for account opportunitiesDevelops and presents a security roadmap that includes comprehensive security strategies and supporting areas including networking security, endpoint protection, data loss prevention, identity and user security, cloud security, and incident response plans tailored to each client's specific needsParticipates from initial qualification to final proposal, in the sales process to include collaborating with account managersServes as a trusted advisor through thought leadership activities and publication to stay at the forefront of the cybersecurity landscapeProvides live demonstrations for customers and sales teamsDevelops and maintains technical competency and related certifications for all core security products and solutions areasPerforms Strategic Road-mapping Sessions with customersParticipates in User Groups and Conferences as requiredPublishes content to the Public sphere as it pertains to area of expertise (Social Media, Linked In, White Papers, etc.)Stays current on industry changes and participates when possible in organizations directly involved with SME products and services, and continually works to improve techniques and sales knowledgeProvides deliverables to customers including statements of work and product architecturesParticipates in Solution Deliverables at the direction of the Solution Architect which can include:Participating in Discovery and Documentation of Business Requirements specific to area of expertise which may include ROI and TCO modelsAssuming responsibility for 3rd Party Quotes and SOW language for area of expertiseProviding relevant Statement of Work Language to Solution Architect resources and Guidance around content flowParticipating in Solution/Delivery Assurance and Services Handoff MeetingsEnsures productive relationships with manufacturer technical peersAssumes responsibility of being dedicated to Top Accounts or Top Account Managers as needed QualificationsRequired Qualifications
7-10 years in a similar Cyber Security Industry roleBroad and general knowledge of Cyber SecurityStrong expertise in industry leading security solutions from Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, F5, Crowdstrike, and other similar providersSubject matter expertise related to cyber frameworks and protocols Proficient at all Microsoft Office products; Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and SharePointExcellent presentation skillsExceptional customer facing skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent relationship and collaboration skillsCertifications or equivalent experience in area of focusAbility to work independently with minimal direction resulting in an accurate solution architecture for the clientAble to manage multiple simultaneous work assignmentsAbility to communicate with all levels, including executive levels, in customers and partners, and bridge the gap between business users and information technologyAccustomed to working in virtual office environment
