Rite Solutions has an opportunity for a Senior Solutions Architect to support our DoD client in Dahlgren, VA. The Sr. Solutions Architect will provide capabilities to support the customer with rapid design, development, test, deployment, maintenance and operation of specific software and hardware capabilities to meet current Cyber Defensive needs.\n
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:\n\nDesign and build components encompassing network, security, identity, governance, development, and operations in Customer's environments.\nOperationalize solutions from proof-of-concept through production using automation for repeatability, maintainability, and to enforce standards beginning with automated testing progressing through the Dev\/Ops pipeline to automated deployment.\nRecommend and if approved use emerging tools and methodologies to automate existing processes and design new virtualized and cloud-based infrastructures based on infrastructure as code mindset; script and deploy infrastructure components.\nProvide insight into and knowledge of the latest virtualized and cloud, technology, solutions, industry trends, and best practices.\nProvide insight into and knowledge of the latest DevOps, technology, solutions, industry trends, and best practices.\nProvide options for leveraging DevSecOps processes with firmware and hardware components.\nDevelop proof-of-concept prototypes using automation for repeatability, maintainability, and to enforce standards, cyber security, and program safety.\n\n
Required Skills:\n\nU.S. Citizenship and an Active or Interim Secret Clearance required\nBachelor's Degree in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline\nMinimum of 10 years of experience as a Solution Architect, with a significant portion focused on cloud services or related technologies.\nWorking knowledge of cross-domain solutions (CDS) implementations and capabilities\nDeep technical understanding of cloud infrastructure, services, and hybrid-cloud strategies.\nProven track record of delivering complex customer architectures.\nAbility to document and create repeatable standard processes, tools, and frameworks for adoption at scale.\nCustomer-centric mentality with a strong focus on delivering value to customers.\nImpeccable organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.\nExcellent partner management skills with experience in building and nurturing strategic partnerships.\nExceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to a variety of audiences.\n5 or more years of experience working within infrastructure solution architecture.\n3 or more years of experience building cloud architecture with AWS, Azure or GCP\nExperience working in software integration to hardware platforms.\nComprehensive knowledge in definition and management of software requirements, design, code, benchmark testing, debugging, software development lifecycle, architecture, and documentation.\nFamiliarity with standard IT security practices such as encryption, certificates, and key management\n\n
