Senior Solutions Architect

Job Description Must be on PT, CT, or MT Time zone The Senior Architect is responsible for designing and implementing complex technology solutions that align with organizational goals and industry best practices. They work closely with customers to understand their business requirements and then architect the appropriate technical solution, including hardware, software and infrastructure components. The Senior Architect provides technical leadership and oversees the implementation of the solution and ensures it meets the functional and non-functional requirements. The Senior Architect has a broad and deep cross disciplinary skill set and is a mentor to others. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop high-level software architecture for complex mission-critical systems Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and architecture Develop detailed technical specifications, diagrams and documentation to communicate architecture and design decisions Leading technical design and architecture sessions with clients and project team to gather and document project requirements for software products, integrations, migrations, reporting and customizations Communicate architectural and design ideas through UML diagrams Develop proof-of-concepts and prototypes to validate proposed solutions Provide technical leadership, guidance and mentorship to development teams Lead the design and architecture of software systems, applications and platforms Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks and tools for projects Contribute to the technical vision and strategy for software development Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the solution delivery lifecycle Conduct design and code reviews and ensure adherence to architecture and design principles Identify and mitigate technical risks and vulnerabilities Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to improve efficiency and quality Contribute to the development of technical roadmaps and project plans Participate in project planning and the development of technical proposals, estimates and presentation Develop and enforce design and coding standards and best practices Support the development teams in providing post-implementation support and troubleshooting issues Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development with at least 3 years in an architecture role A strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes Knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark or Kafka Familiarity with machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts and frameworks Proven track record of delivering complex, high-impact software projects on time and within budget Expertise in designing and implementing scalable, distributed software systems Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, design patterns and agile methodologies Significant experience architecting, designing and/or building SaaS based solutions Proficient in multiple programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, C#, Python, React, Redux) Hands-on experience with cloud-based architectures and technologies (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure) Excellent problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills Certifications in relevant technologies Extensive knowledge of design patterns and anti-patterns Exceptional verbal and written communication Benefits We’re committed to supporting your ultimate well-being through our total compensation package offerings that support your health, wealth and self. Benefits eligibility may differ depending on full-time or part-time status. Compensation depends on the applicable US geographic market. The expected base pay for this position ranges from $95,000 - $160,000 annually, and will be based on a number of additional factors including skills, experience, and education.
