You will be an essential part of this mission, using your technical expertise to demonstrate how our Data Intelligence Platform can help customers solve their complex data challenges. You'll work with a collaborative, customer-focused swarming team who values solving problems, initiative and creativity, using your skills to enhance the account teams and either drive important opportunities to a tech win, or help customers get value from their Databricks deployments on an accelerated time-scale.
You will report to the Solution Architect Manager in Field Engineering.

The impact you will have:
Take to success key new opportunities or help customers realize value from Databricks, working in collaboration with the account team’s Account Executive and Solutions Architect.Gain excitement from clients about Databricks through hands-on evaluation and Spark programming, integrating with the wider cloud ecosystem and 3rd party applications.Be part of the team responding to important RFP/RFI’s.Support your customers by authoring reference architectures, how-to’s, and demo applications.Help build the Databricks technical community through engagement at workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.Develop both technically and in the pre-sales aspect with the goal of becoming an independently operating Solutions Architect.What we look for:
Familiarity working with clients, creating a narrative for Databricks value, answering customer questions, have initiative and skills solving problems to quickly address the customer needs in key engagements.Collaborate with the accounts’ Account Executive and Solution Architect, taking the lead in driving forward the relevant scenarios.Craft compelling technical solutions, address customers' pain-points, and explain how to get value from Databricks, and ability to reach the end-goals in a short timeframe.Coding experience (i.e., Python, Java, SQL).Knowledgeable in the core Big Data Analytics domain with some exposure to advanced proofs-of-concept and an understanding of a major public cloud platform.3 or more years of experience diving deeper into solution architecture and design.Benefits
