Summary: We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect to join the Digital & AI (DSAI) organization, supporting our client's Gas & Power business within their Trading & Supply (T&S) team. This role is part of the General Manager - Architect Trading & Supply group and is responsible for delivering high-quality solution architecture for business projects, programs, and products. The Solution Architect (SA) ensures IT solutions are fit for purpose, align with the client's technology strategy, and maintain technical integrity, while optimizing total cost of ownership (TCO). Success in this role is measured by stakeholder satisfaction and the successful deployment of solutions into production. Responsibilities * Architecture Delivery: Own and deliver high-quality architecture that aligns with business and IT strategy; Ensure solutions are designed for current and future needs * Collaboration & Leadership: Partner with Lead Architects, IT Managers, and Product/Project Managers to deliver, assure, and implement solutions; Lead teams of architects through squads, providing coaching and skills development * Solution Development & Assurance: Provide technical consultancy and assurance for projects, ensuring adherence to client's standards and reference architectures; Own the end-to-end architecture of products, from design to deployment and hyper care * Integration & Data Management: Address business process, data, application, technical, and security requirements; Ensure all solution architecture documentation aligns with client's data management and security policies * Technology & Innovation: Define technology services and components that drive business value; Conduct proof of concepts (PoCs) to evaluate new technologies; Ensure solutions are future-proof, considering compliance, regulatory requirements, security, and privacy-by-design principles
