Responsibilities Location Singapore, SG Job ID REQ-053310 Responsible for the development and implementation of short- and long-term sourcing strategiesResponsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing supply base. This will involve initial supplier survey, qualification and risk assessment of new suppliersDrive cost deflation and avoidance through negotiations, supplier process and productivity improvementsParticipates in Product Transfer ensuring all sourcing related matters are planned and executed in a timely mannerLead sourcing projects to migrate production material spend to Low Cost CountriesGather market intelligence on supply base and technology trends on assigned commoditiesNegotiate supplier contractual terms & conditions including long term agreementsManages and co-ordinates early supplier involvement in New Product Introduction projects from parts design stage through mass production, ensuring critical timelines are metUpgrades and maintains an efficient sourcing and procurement systemManage and develop team members skills and knowledgeOther duties as assigned by manager / head of department

Basic Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain or relevant field5+ years of experience in Sourcing and Procurement in a global company
