Job Purpose :
The Sr Sourcing Specialist is responsible for facilitating an efficient sourcing process by building relationships with suppliers, negotiating cost and developing agreements for the Goods and Services required at multiple locations within the Geozones and/or the Region, this involve using established sourcing methodology, electronic platforms and tools. The role will report to the Global Sourcing Manager, liaise with the network Category Managers to develop sourcing strategies.

Ensures to develop and implement the sourcing plan, working closely with Operations and Category Management to refine the sourcing strategy and plans for the Geozones and/or Region for the upcoming year Assesses sourcing and category opportunities, analysing spend data from multiple sources, structured analysis of supplier/category industry to identify trends, purchasing patterns, competitive position, market conditions and expiring contracts to indicate ways to improve the pricing, quality, service and technology Ensures to execute sourcing events (RFX’s), negotiates hard savings and/or benefits to lower the overall cost to the organization Ensures accurate and up to date contracts and supplier records are maintained Ensures to award contract and agreements to suppliers that comply with company requirements Tracks performance aspects of contracts and supplier development that includes contract inventory, segmentation, risk assessments, contingency planning and validation of right pricing Ensures safe and efficient utilization of company systems, tools and spreadsheets/reports Creates strategic alliances with suppliers to develop and maintain long-term supply partnerships Works with all relevant parties in the consolidation and rationalization of Supplier base
COMMUNICATION
Maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders both internal and where appropriate external Supervisors & Managers should clearly communicate expectations, roles and responsibilities to their reports Maintains effective level of communication with a broad range of stakeholders in order to plan and prioritize sourcing initiatives to support business requirements Communicate timely, clear and concise the impact of sourcing decisions to stakeholders, leading meetings with suppliers for the resolution or mitigation of key/critical issues to ensure alignment with project expectations Maintain contact and network with supplier community
FINANCIAL

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
REQUIRED
Familiarity with Procurement and Sourcing principles and techniques: Procure-to-Pay full cycle, e-catalogs, e-ordering and e-invoicing Strategic Sourcing methodology and tools Analyzing data regarding the cost and availability of materials and services that are needed to complete projects Demonstrating in-depth knowledge of commodity industry Strong analytical and negotiation skills, including cost models Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities Comprehend the industry and the marketplace Solid understanding of fundamental contracting and agreements principles with the ability to create contracts using Company templates Display impeccable time-management, detail oriented and a high level of accuracy Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task with proven record of meeting deadlines Must be flexible with the ability to work in a constantly changing environment and quickly adapt to operational requirements Excellent Customer Service Strong teamwork Ability to operate across teams, cultural and organizational boundariesPREFERRED

Experience & Education
REQUIRED
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing or equivalent combination of higher degree and related experience Minimum 3-7+ years related experience with demonstrated competencies in a sourcing and procurement position Ability to interact in English and potentially other language relevant in local hub Intermediate Excel user and proficient in MS Office suitePREFERRED
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Sourcing Certificate 5+ years of experience in a sourcing and procurement, supply chain position
