Senior Specialist, Communications and Employee Engagement

What you will do -

As a Senior Specialist, Communications and Employee Engagement you will work onsite in our Fremont, CA office Tuesday - Thursday.

​​In this position you will lead communication strategy for key stakeholders in Neurovascular with a focus on the Fremont site. You will work closely with the communications team to develop and execute communication plans, craft engaging content and ensure our messaging is consistent, clear and resonates with our audiences.

Additional responsibilities:

Coordinate planning, creation and distribution of divisional communications through the appropriate communication channels and platforms, ensuring transparent and effective communication for target audiences.Write, edit and proofread various communication materials to maintain a consistent and compelling brand voice.Communicate urgent and business-critical communications to various audiences across appropriate channels in a timely manner with attention to detail.Maintain site distribution lists to target messages to the appropriate audience(s).Manage and update content on the company intranet and other channels to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.Create and maintain annual activities calendar for Fremont site and execute on employee engagement event requirements for the Fremont site including, but not limited to, Bring your kid to work day, Employee Appreciation Week, 401K Match Day, Fremont End of Year Celebration, World Stroke Day, Stroke Awareness Month, R&D Picnic.  This also includes ERG and community involvement initiatives as well as additional events and programs, as required for the site.Requirements include, but are not limited to, invitations, registration, air and ground travel, food and beverage, audio visual, amenity selection, billing reconciliation, program evaluations and follow-up with minimal direction.Lead the Fremont-based engagement committee – NV STAC (Stryker Team Activities Committee).Support on-site customer visits as needed, in partnership with Clinical and R&D teams.Execute events within established budget and ensure timely and accurate processing of expenses.Establish relationships with immediate team and internal customers to provide a team approach to the successful planning and implementation of all programs.Provide high-quality, effective on-site event support and support other team members in the execution of events as needed.

What you need -

Required

Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent 6+ years of work experience 2+ years’ work experience

Preferred

2+ years of experience in communications, meeting, conference, or special event planning Expertise in Marketo, SharePoint 365, MS Office, Zoom, Teams Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite Excellent organizational, time management, and project management skills with experience planning multiple back-to-back meetings

$78,100-121,600  salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

Travel Percentage: 10%
