Stock Plan Services (SPS) provides a wide range of services for equity compensation programs to both employers and participants. Using our market-leading proprietary record-keeping system, Schwab EquiView®, we provide plan administration services for equity compensation plans, including: Stock Option grants, Restricted Stock Awards/Units, Performance Awards, and Employee Stock Purchase Plans (ESPP).
SPS also provides an array of brokerage related services for equity compensation plans through Schwab Equity Award Center®. Some of the many features available through this participant web site are the ability to view grant details, execute transactions, accept grant agreements, and enroll in and manage an ESPP.
The SPS Conversion Team is responsible for managing and executing all aspects of implementation/conversion projects bringing new corporate clients onto Schwab’s systems. The conversion process involves varying components uniquely tailored to the complexities of client's plans and overall needs. In addition to conversions the Conversion Team also supports merger, acquisition and corporate action activity of existing clients; provides sales support; supports contract negotiations; and supports Deconversions.
The Conversion Analyst is responsible for a variety of tasks that support the SPS Conversion Team. These tasks include assisting Conversion Managers with migrating client data onto Schwab EquiView® and related systems; RFP's and proposal assistance; contract management, plan and participant configuration; data cleansing and reconciliation; SFTP setup; and internal go-live communications.
Build strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.Organize projects and resources to meet client service goals.Identify opportunities to improve service quality and productivity.Perform formatting, cleansing, and analysis of clients’ data files to ensure a smooth data migration from their existing system(s).Resolve internal and external stakeholders’ inquiries by providing best practice recommendations.Guide clients on extracting needed data from systems used at various other firms throughout the industry.Work with various data formats such as Excel spreadsheets, text files, Access databases, and third-party recordkeeping systems.Collaborate via phone and email with clients throughout the conversion process.Ability to prioritize personal daily schedule to meet the timelines from multiple ongoing projects.Configure recordkeeping system, trading systems, invoice systems, and project management tools.What you haveAbility to work in a multilocational team environment with other members of the Conversion Team, Client Service Team, Operations Teams, Relationship Managers, Education Consultants, and other internal and external stakeholders.Strong consulting and problem-solving skills.Highly organized with a demonstrated track record of working on multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to convey complicated recordkeeping system features in an easy-to-understand message.Ability to manage customer expectations and relationships.Self-starting fast learner capable of absorbing continuous changes to internal systems and industry practices.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.Ability to quickly adapt and adjust effectively to recognize and handle changes in priorities across multiple projects.4 + years of brokerage industry experience including 2 years in equity compensation operations, administration, or client service experience.BA/BS degree or commiserate experience.Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel and other MS Office applicationsBasic understanding of database structures and queries.Expert data reconciliation, mapping, and data configuration skills.Excellent oral and written communications skills with the ability to prioritize workflow.Excellent customer service skills including the ability to manage client expectations and provide superior follow-up. Familiarity with the Schwab EquiView equity compensation recordkeeping system or knowledge of other recordkeeping systems such as Transcentive or EquityEdge is a plus.FINRA Series 7 and 63 preferred.CEP preferred.Knowledge of Workfront, SharePoint, or Salesforce are a plus.
In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
