Job Description:

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Essential Functions: 

4-6 years of experience with Red Hat Linux Administration or Engineering, particularly in configuration, integration, and deploymentConfigure, monitor, maintain, troubleshoot VMWare and/or other virtualization technologies, storage appliancesExperience in VM life-cycle, backup and host managementProficiency in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), agile system development, and DevSecOps tools and processesConfiguring and deploying Linux host build and configuration automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet)Strong analytical skills and understanding of data flow principles (e.g., TCP/IP, OSI model) for Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and troubleshooting Linux OS (RHEL 7 and 8) systemsSystem configuration experience with Enterprise Identity Management tools (LDAP, IPA, Active Directory, etc.)Lead efforts to field changes to production systems to a scheduleAddress and detect issues that impact projects and implement/develop courses of action (COAs) to mitigate or alleviate the impact to projectsExperience implementing patches, scanning, remediating findings, auditingSupport critical operations during standard and occasional non-standard working hours, up to 20% travelThe position is 100% on-site and cannot be performed remotely.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $90,500 - $168,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
