Job Title: Field Engineer 4 / Mission System Maintenance Advisor Job Code: 20484Job Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Clearance: Secret security clearance Job Description: + The Field Engineer 4 / Mission System Maintenance Advisor reports directly to the L-3Harris Technologies Site Manager assigned to the Host Country. Works with the RSAF end user on troubleshooting and repair of the ISR Mission Systems on the KA-350ER mission system modified by L3Harris. This individual advises customer airframe technicians on specific differences applicable to KA 350 missionized aircraft. Debriefs aircrews on performance of the L3H modified mission systems on the KA 350 aircraft, and devises a troubleshooting plan to define and resolve problems. Provides On-the-Job (OJT) training for RSAF and L3H assigned personnel. Responsible for attending all required meetings/briefings, and required field training courses. Responsible to properly document aircraft forms, and all required documentation for spare parts removed and replaced. Responsible to troubleshoot and maintain all ISR equipment delivered to RSAF end user including Mission System Trainer, and Transportable Ground Stations. Essential Functions: + Works with the RSAF end user on troubleshooting and repair of the mission systems on the KA 350 ISR mission system modified by L3Harris. + Debriefs aircrews on performance of the L3H modified mission systems on the KA 350 aircraft, and devises a troubleshooting plan to define and resolve problems. + Provides On-the-Job (OJT) training for RSAF and L3H assigned personnel. + Willingness and/or ability to work outside regularly scheduled hours to meet company objectives. + Ability to read and interpret electrical/electronic terminology, symbols, codes, and diagrams/schematics/drawings. Including various types of technical orders (T.O.’s). + Ability to use test equipment to isolate malfunctions, and required tools to effect repairs. + Ability to work under extreme weather conditions and assist team members with various tasks when required. Qualifications: + Active Secret DoD security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. + Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
