Senior Specialist, Inforce Management

In this role, the Senior specialist, Inforce Management, Cambodia will work on collecting, processing, and analyzing complex data to uncover valuable insights that drive business decisions and improve operational efficiency.

We are looking for someone with:

At least 4-5 years of working experience with good understanding of data, actuarial experience monitoring (persistency and claims experiences) and insurance business know-how.Ability to translate complex data insights into business drivers (what drive the good/worsening experiences), communicate and present to various stakeholder includes senior leadership team.Creative, thinking out of the box, details oriented, effective communications and planning are key elements for success.Experience with business intelligence tools (such as Qlikview, QlikSense, Power BI) and programming languages (including SQL, VBA etc.). Team player oriented as well as can follow up tasks independently.This is an individual contributor role.

Nice to Haves:

Project management skills; ability to lead project and make decision.In-dept knowledge of insurance products, business operation and financial reporting.Good progress of actuarial exams or other similar professional exams.Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.Fast learning and growth mindset attitude. Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex data and derive meaningful insights.Problem-solving: Aptitude for identifying data-related problems.Communication: Clear and effective communication the findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and influential in driving actions. Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and leadership teams to achieve common goals.Attention to detail: Thoroughness and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and business needs.Project / Task Management: Demonstrated ability to support multiple projects simultaneously, effectively and efficiently.

On the job you will:

Assist in the inforce management projects to deep dive on experience drivers, mainly focus on persistency and claim, identify root cause and propose recommendations to improve customer experience and bringing value to the company. Closely collaborations with and influent various stakeholders (including sales, operations, and leadership team etc.) on different inforce management initiatives.Work closely with different functional team to ensure identified KPIs are monitored and inform stakeholders of critical and actionable insights.Develop reports/template focused on historical experience, monitoring regular and newly emerging trends, exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns and correlations that may lead to meaningful indicators/findings/root cause to the business.Determine opportunities for automation, streamlining and improvement of existing reports and operational processes and closely work with other functions to close the gap. Assist in any other projects as assigned.
