Instrumental in supporting KBR’s Talent Development Centre of Excellence, part of the Corporate People function, this role will coordinate delivery of talent, leadership, learning and training programs, initiatives, projects and events.  Strong training delivery, facilitation, project management, communications, and relationship building skills are critical for partnering with business and People leaders across the company. Building alliances, supporting leader learners, and collaborating for success are critical capabilities. Additionally, the role will serve as a Talent COE point-of-contact and subject matter expert for our Front-Line Leader program.  Support leadership and learning initiatives and be a reference for our People Partners, managers, and employees. This position will also take an active role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement that delivers scalable and repeatable leadership and learning solutions to support the business.

Responsibilities: 

The specialist provides direct support for the talent, leadership, learning, and employee development practices and processes within the KBR Talent Development COE.  Typical duties include: 

Create delivery model for global Front Line Leadership program, communicating, and collaborating with business leaders, People Partners, internal facilitators, students, and stakeholders across the company, coordinating the schedule and delivery of global courses. 

Oversee internal facilitator training in partnership with external vendor partner. 

Support development and delivery of KBR’s Talent and Workday processes, programs, projects, activities and events across the organization leveraging all available channels to drive usage, build business intelligence, and sustainable metrics.  Ensure alignment to KBR’s values and People Strategy, effective implementation and adoption, continuous improvement, and best-in-class customer service to internal customers for maximizing our Employee Value Proposition (EVP) of Belong, Connect, Grow.  Use information systems, reporting, dashboards, and metrics for active programs to measure effectiveness and provide status updates to leadership. 

Collaborate and build productive business partnerships with various stakeholders across business units and functions— People and Talent Partners, Learning coordinators, leaders and employees, IT, HRIS, Marketing and Communications, Procurement, Finance/Accounting. 

Support and participate in People Team and Talent process improvement workstreams focused on developing and delivering the KBR People Strategy. 

Support awareness, training, and adoption of KBR Talent Development processes, resources and tools to develop effective usage and build business intelligence. 

Efficiently and effectively project manage scheduling, registrations, reservations, logistics, vendor agreements and contracts, budgeting and invoicing for specific talent, leadership, and learning programs and events, virtual and in person. 

Assist in developing and supporting the evaluation, tracking, and reviewing of Talent Development processes, procedures, documentation, and resources for various end-user audiences to ensure consistency, accuracy, and timely cost-effective delivery, including job aids, training materials, tools, surveys, and intranet/SharePoint/Teams site management. 

Support overall team requests – planning, reporting, communication, branding, coordination of notifications and nominations, programs, and SharePoint site support and other continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications 

Typically requires a minimum of two to five years related experience with a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience; defining new and managing existing talent, leadership, and learning programs and processes or other related HR disciplines.
