As a subsidiary of L3Harris Technologies and within the Integrated Mission Systems Segment, the European division based in Poland, develops the most advanced optical sensor and targeting systems for global defense and military sectors, National Security, Search & Rescue and Airborne law enforcement agencies. From long-range covert surveillance missions to search and rescue operations, our MX-series systems, and the mission systems solutions they are a part of, produce stabilized high-magnification electro-optical and infrared images from airborne, marine and ground based platforms, enabling our customers to see first and act first.
What the role will involve
The responsibilities of your role will include the following:
Develop, implement and analyze manufacturing engineering plans and projects and communicate them to internal and external customers. Define, develop and transfer manufacturing and engineering tools, strategies and systems. Develop manufacturing strategies for specific products and processes. Actively participate with engineering project teams in order to coordinate the release of new products. Estimate and track manufacturing costs, determines time standards, and make recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines. Maintain records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.What you’ll bring
The role requires the following experience and skills:
Strong knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. Must have a well-rounded background with Manufacturing Engineering experience in a high-tech environment.Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience, OR Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experienceExperience with electronics, electrics, automation designing and configuration managementExperience with engineering change and product life cycle management Lean certification or equivalent industry experienceFluent in English and Polish language (written and verbal)Important to know
