Title and Summary

Senior Specialist, Product Analytics

Mastercard Checkout Services Analytics & Optimization team builds internal analytic partnerships, strengthening focus on the health of the product, optimization opportunities, initiative tracking, new product and enhancement reporting, marketing campaign analytics and new market/partner launches monitoring.

The ideal candidate should have Tableau development experience, analytical mindset, and ability to create data reports and insights using raw data sets.


Role & Responsibilities
•\tDesign, build and maintain Tableau dashboards
•\tFacilitate and complete testing activities around newly created dashboards and reports
•\tCreate and package manual and automated monthly reports for various stakeholders via Excel and PowerPoint
•\tDefine, design and develop complex SQL queries or extracts for dashboards
•\tAnalyze and interpret data to understand and identify trends and anomalies
•\tDive into more findings and problem solving from reporting as needed
•\tHandle ad hoc data pulls and analysis for various stakeholders
•\tCollaborate with Product, Engineering and business stakeholders to translate business reporting requirements into technical/data fields requirements

Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a Business, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics


All About You
•\t3-5 years related work experience, preferably in financial services
•\tExperience in product management, product development, and project management nice to have
•\tStrong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
•\tStrong organizational, planning and follow-up skills
•\tAbility to manage work on several projects concurrently
•\tStrong analytical skills
•\tSQL experience is required
•\tExperience with web analytics tool preferred (i.e. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, etc…)
•\tDashboard development experience with data visualization tools is required (i.e. Tableau, Power BI, Cubes, etc…)
•\tDetail oriented focus
•\tSelf-motivated with a proven track record of delivering success while operating within a team
