Senior Specialist, Technology Partnership

Job Description

The Senior Capital Program Business Analyst will join our Global Animal Health Manufacturing (GAHM) IT team. This position is responsible for ensuring the successful planning, approval, and monitoring of IT and automation solutions at our manufacturing sites. You will help manage the GAHM IT capital portfolio, supporting project managers, and maintaining adherence to capital and PMO standards.

This is a permanent, hybrid and full-time role.

Key Responsibilities:

Portfolio Management: Oversee the GAHM IT Capital portfolio, including business-funded and IT-funded projects.

Strategic Alignment: Partner with strategic planning, GAHM IT Value teams, and site Digital Manufacturing Operations (DMO) leads to align the capital plan with digital strategy and site roadmaps.

Governance and Compliance: Ensure projects adhere to capital processes and support PMO governance.

Issue Resolution: Support individual project Emerging Issues and Contract Breaks, including troubleshooting and corrective actions.

Reporting: Provide periodic updates to business and IT leadership on individual projects and the GAHM IT project portfolio.

Methodology and Insights: Apply structured approaches to capture key views of the project portfolio, develop insights, and take action to ensure improved execution and on-time delivery.

Knowledge Management: Maintain subject matter expertise in project management, capital, and financial processes, and coach team members through lessons learned and other Knowledge Management Practices.

Process Improvement: Partner with stakeholders to improve documented capital processes and project standards.

Candidate Requirements:

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, science, information systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent and extensive related project experience

4+ years of experience in project or program management, with demonstrated success in delivering technical projects

Minimum of two years in IT, Operational Technology (OT), or a related function

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong problem-solving and negotiating skills

Open and receptive to feedback, with the ability to lead with ideas and evidence, fostering a collaborative atmosphere

Preferred:

Experience with Operational Technology (OT) such as Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Manufacturing Execution System (MES), process historian, or MES

Experience in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) manufacturing, preferably of pharmaceutical or vaccine production

Experience with Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Methodology

Experience with implementing solutions in Good Practice (GxP) regulated environment
