Senior Specialist, Third Party Risk Management
Manages relationships with UKPI third party vendors. Maintains strong internal control frameworks for vendor performance, cost management, risk assessments, and service governance. Core Responsibilities + Manages relationships with UKPI third party vendors, primarily those performing outsourced operations. Maintains strong internal control frameworks for vendor performance, cost management, risk assessments, and service governance. + Partners with internal stakeholders to ensure vendor service arrangements meet regulatory and enterprise standards. + Leads in the monitoring, reporting, and development of control and oversight strategies. Prepares documentation of operational models for regulators and independent auditors. Identifies and proposes resolutions for gaps. Ensures compliance with regulations, mitigates business risk, and oversees continuous improvement of processes. + Leads development, implementation, and maintenance of vendor performance dashboards, management reports and executive summaries. + Coordinates and supports the development and execution of Third-Party assessments. Builds strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Collaborates with the shared services and management to regarding audit findings and self-identified risks, to influence control solutions. + Evaluates financial data to ensure Vanguard obtains the highest value and expected returns on investment. Makes change recommendations to management. + Builds and maintains awareness of risk and control topics. Seeks to understand broad industry and Vanguard trends regarding risk and control and determines applicability to the operation. + Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications + Minimum of five years related work experience. + Strong understanding of operations, and applicable regulations and law related to retail investing + Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
