**The Opportunity**
The Senior Specialist for Invest Advisors is responsible for the management and execution of all investing and rebalancing activities for the Ally Invest Advisors business line. In this role, the Specialist is accountable for ensuring that all trading activities are performed and in line with AIA risk management policies, working with Digital Technology and Ally Invest Securities to drive improvements and managing any customer inquiries related to trading. In addition, specific duties for this role include daily trading for advisor accounts, monitoring and cashiering activities, billing accounts on daily/monthly basis, and required monthly/quarterly reporting. The role also involves processing, verifying and resolving all trading/settlement issues; rebalances; cash management; resolving complex errors; understanding model portfolio activity and daily monitoring of accounts. In addition, candidates should possess the ability to troubleshoot in real time issues with and have an in-depth understanding of investment rebalancing systems. The candidate will also be responsible for automating processes within AIA utilizing tools such as R, Python, and Power Automate.
This is an in office role with Hybrid schedule. Ally work location for this role is Charlotte, NC only

**The Work Itself**
* Solely responsible for the management and trading of all Ally Invest Advisors Robo Portfolios using AIA’s proprietary rebalancing system for automated investing
* Ownership of problem resolution in real time and monitoring of trade desk processes including order processing and handling, trade corrections, etc, processed by other Ally Invest Securities functions
* Monitor and manage complex account resolution in coordination with Ally Securities Trading, Cashiering, Margin and ECR.
* Assist Manager of Trading with larger scale projects to evaluating order/system/issue behaviors and independently identify ways to improve trade desk operations and procedures regarding issues or projects including product enhancements. (This includes all aspects - identification/data & research/solutions)
* Monitor and approve cashiering activities in accounts and execute requisite trades accordingly
* Answer questions on all trading activity, market analysis and portfolio rebalancing across Ally Invest
* Assist Manager in supervising daily trading duties (completion and efficiency)
* Train, mentor and develop Broker Trainees and Client Service Representatives on Advisory Managed Portfolio accounts
* Provide assistance to Ally Invest Advisor clients by answering phone calls and responding to emails and Live Chats in a professional manner
* Monthly and quarterly reports with a strong knowledge of Excel
* Placing and/or facilitating execution of client orders, resolving complex customer trading issues
* Assists customers with complex and advanced orders or with account questions; respond to customer inquiries on related issues; troubleshoot basic technical problems and/or escalate to supervisor or manager
* Process information associated with clients account, research more complex issues to correct/minimize problems
* Assists Representatives with high level trades requiring a subject matter expert or supervisor’s approval
* Assist in actively monitoring all channels of communication to ensure efficiency
* Identify areas to improve client service or trading operational efficiencies and product enhancements
* May be requested to partner with support and/or operations teams to perform requirement gathering or assisting in development of applications to improve accuracy and efficiency in the trading service environment
* Communicate regularly with Supervisors, Managers, and Director
* Assist Supervisors, Managers, and Directors as needed on special projects and/or assist with compliance and regulatory inquiries
* Remain current on internal work processes, procedures and product knowledge
* Work closely with other departments to expedite requests
* Understand, comply, maintain and reinforce regulatory and firms policies and procedure/guidelines
**The Skills You Bring**
* 3+ years of prior investment or brokerage work experience required
* 2+ years experience using VBA, R, Python or similar tools required
* FINRA Series 7, 63 required
* FINRA Series 65 preferred/or ability to obtain within 3 months and Series 24 preferred/or ability to obtain within 6 months
* Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, and/or Data Analytics
* Ability to communicate effectively over the telephone/email and establish credibility and trust with a variety of clients.
* Strong understanding and exposure to financial service/trading industry.
* Strong understanding of trading platforms
* Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point) and Internet
* Solid relationship building and ability to deal with internal/external resources.
* Able to work independently and with a team to handle all issues while working under strict time constraints.
* Able to work in high-pressure environment with strict SLA’s and deadlines.
* Detail and results oriented and able to prioritize tasks in a multi-task environment.
* Experience in leveraging organizational skills to support client needs, focusing on execution, accuracy and efficiency.
* Strong communicator who can effectively process constructive feedback while always keeping the corporate and end user goals in mind.
* Excellent oral and written communication with strong emphasis on grammar and strong desire to provide an exceptional customer experience.
* Able to exercise independent thought and judgment and adapt to new tasks with little notice.
* Must be confident and highly credible via e-chats, email, over the phone and in person.
* Strong interpersonal skills are required
