Senior Specialist Analytics (Wholesale Channel) EMC

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:

 

Deliver reporting and analytics services to all Cluster stakeholders, enabling them to take quantitatively based decisions Drive the implementation of analytics tools Maintain proper level of data quality

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Accountable for Cluster data sourcing and management Taking accountability for the on-going accuracy of all data points and ensuring where any issues do arise, these are resolved in a timely manner Conduct regular Sell In & Sell Out reporting (weekly/monthly/quarterly) Prepare data analysis for account and cluster WHS teams (exemplary analytics areas may include but are not limited to): Account and Cluster business performance (Sell in and Sell Out) Sell Out analysis based on defined retail KPIs Marketing campaigns analysis Range analysis & quantitative assortment optimization Elaborate innovative sales concepts and solutions Monitor and report on customers and competitor’s activities and propose/initiate/take actions Work with Global & Market Wholesale business analytics to input local insights and business reality, improve reporting structures and distil best practices across markets Drive profitable and sustainable market share growth within assigned accounts and all targeted product categories and concepts while respecting the adidas Group brand image

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Proven experience in Retail Merchandising (Planning, Trading & Buying, Category Management) Excellent organizational and planning skills Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills Strong industry knowledge, across divisions of footwear, apparel, and accessories/equipment In depth understanding of local markets’ consumers, accounts, and commercial needs Comfortable with working in an international environment Strong communication & presentation skills Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and to work under pressure

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

Advanced Excel skills Experience in Retail Merchandising field Sporting goods industry experience is a plus Experience with data and visualization techniques Passionate about deriving business insight from data, improving processes, and solving problems.  Highly motivated, with the ability to work in a deadline driven environment
