RESPONSIBILITIES Legacy System Analysis and Modernization: Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing legacy systems to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Propose modern alternatives and facilitate the transition process, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Act as a liaison between technical teams, management, and other stakeholders. Communicate project progress, challenges, and outcomes effectively, ensuring all parties are informed and engaged throughout the digitalization journeyTechnology Evaluation and Implementation: Research and evaluate emerging technologies and digital tools that can enhance the organization’s operations. Lead the implementation of selected technologies, ensuring they are integrated seamlessly into existing workflows. Strategic Planning and Project Management: Develop and implement strategic plans for digital transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization’s overall business objectives. This includes defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables while coordinating with various stakeholders.Training and Change Management: Develop and deliver training programs to staff on new systems and processes, fostering a culture of adaptability and continuous improvement. Manage the change process to help employees transition smoothly to new digital tools and methodologies.QUALIFICATIONS Master's degree or diploma in business administration or information sciences and at least 4 years of business or business consulting experienceTechnical Proficiency in Digital Tools and Platforms: A strong understanding of various digital technologies, platforms, and tools is crucial. This includes familiarity with cloud computing, data analytics, software development methodologies, and integration techniques. The specialist should be able to assess technology needs and recommend solutions that align with business objectivesProject Management and Strategic Thinking: The ability to manage projects efficiently while maintaining a strategic focus is vital. This involves skills in planning, executing, and monitoring projects, as well as the capacity to think critically about how digital initiatives can drive overall business goals. Proficiency in project management methodologies (such as Agile or Waterfall) can significantly enhance effectivenessInterpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are essential for engaging with stakeholders at all levels, from technical teams to executive management.
