Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
MEDIA & INFLUENCER MARKETING are crucial for establishing the brand on the market and executing a key strategic program in Zone EAST with a strong focus on Poland and Key City Warsaw. The Sr. Specialist Newsroom & Membership EE (East Europe) will lead main partnerships with brand ambassadors, while providing support for athlete activations and sport federations or associations. This person will support Newsroom initiatives such as brand calendar management, partner portfolio planning and PR activations for local membership activations.
The Sr. Specialist Newsroom & Media Activation takes a leading role in successful collaboration between adidas and its partners. This role is focused on taking full responsibility of contractual process, from the brief to internal approvals, as well as on building long and short-term strategy of activating the partner across categories. The role also includes supporting Activation Lead in delivering agreed services to fully establish PR & Media Partners campaign plan.
The role would work in a fast-paced and highly strategic environment with many opportunities to develop and to gain exposure within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Scope: Key position in Zone East organization to drive Partner activation through: Analyzing the current market and cooperating with partners during activations, creating clear, engaging briefs, and taking accountability for decision making and delivered content. Support for membership activation will be executed through: Analyzing of existing membership drivers, creating new innovative drivers and taking accountability for driving transparency, decision making and accountability across initiatives to deliver against Membership targets for East (focus Poland). Key interaction function for East Newsroom & support for EU brand membership team.
Support & coordinate brand calendar of key stories by creating excel templates, editing & inputting assigned stories. Leading partnerships with brand ambassadors through creating publishing guidelines and activation during key moments. Support & coordinate directly with PR brand partners (ambassadors) to execute campaigns and activations in line with the brand strategy. Support in coordination of yearly athlete partner publishing plan through template creation, collaboration with the Sports Marketing & Brand teams and assigning campaigns to relevant partners. Support in content creation for athletes through collaboration with external agency. Filling in reports, excels & submitting them to the EU Newsroom team. Planning and executing brand campaigns in collaboration with external agency to develop PR strategy, influencer cooperation & content creation. Develop PR strategy & influencer activation for membership activations. Create locally adapted press releases & influencer publishing guidelines for membership activations. Support in project management for cross-functional initiatives incl. deliverables, milestones, progress monitoring. Drive for results and monitor progress in achieving goals.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
University degree in business, ideally with Digital Marketing focus (Masters or MBA preferred) 3+ years of in-depth experience related to strategic projects management or similar topics. Cross-functional experience ideally with / digital / marketing / sales / IT Industry: sporting goods or comparable industry Experience working with stakeholders and experts at various organizational levels. Understanding of publishing mix: owned, earned & paid. Experience with digital apps, membership programs and digital marketing is a plus. Experience in briefing of and working with external partners and agencies is a plus. Solid knowledge about the Key City Warsaw and its consumers is a plus. Up to 3 years of progressive Marketing/CRM/Membership/Loyalty/eCommerce/Brand Communications experience in sports business, consumer goods, marketplaces, etc is a plus.
