Our Environmental Compliance product team is responsible for the end-to-end DevOps lifecycle for SAP-based EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) solutions. This includes solutions in the area of product safety, dangerous goods, labelling, hazardous substance management, waste, and environmental protection, targeting to ensure compliance for BASF to operate in global markets.
In your new role, you will develop and configure different applications in the EHS area, focussing on SAP EHS Classic Substance Volume Tracking and Dangerous Goods Management, both from functional and technical perspective.You will be part of an agile product team and contribute to create iteration plans and deliver the agreed increments and team objectives. You will create technical designs, implement new and enhance existing applications, while ensuring sustainable solutions from a technical point of view.You will leverage advanced development standards to write sophisticated code and logic for complex enhancements and applications.Further, you will cultivate positive relationships with the Product Owner and other stakeholders to confirm that the code and acceptance tests reflect the desired functionality. In addition, you will apply your skills in requirements engineering, research, design, prototyping and other exploration activities to design, build and operate high-quality components and solutions.You will utilize and enlarge your area of expertise into other areas of the product team’s portfolio to aid BASFs operational divisions in maintaining efficient processes that comply with regulatory and legal requirements.QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor or Master degree preferably in Information Technology, business informatics, or in a comparable fieldMinimum of 5 years of professional SAP ABAP development experience, incl.
