Senior Specialist - Implementation Services

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Operations team at Mercer. This role will be based in Gurgaon/ Noida/ Pune. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office

What can you expect?

You will be closely working with our product Health™, a cloud-based global benefits management and employee engagement software, used by some of the world’s most innovative companies.

You will be responsible for Requirements Management for HEALTH Implementation clients. This position requires having business and client facing experience with an expertise on the delivery of Health™ projects. As a Business Analyst you will be working closely with the Health Brokering, Consulting teams and Client to deliver multiple regional client projects.

You will need to have solid understanding of benefits and how these are built on Health. Understand end-end benefit administration processes including interfacing on Health.

Health accreditationBe able to create benefit plan design, perform configuration tasks, perform unit testingBe able to configure and schedule standard provider reports and creates new reports for payroll and all simple-medium-complex tasks as defined in the ‘Health Core Skills’ matrixPerform peer review and offer guidance on Medium/High complexity configuration to other configuration specialistsUnderstands the end to end delivery processAbility to coach team on Domain, HEALTH tool and process understandingConnect with clients to collect requirements.Perform high-level assessment of the functional, technical requirements of the client.Perform an Initial Project Feasibility (ROI, Business Case) analysis.Understand the project's vision and requirements and contribute to scoping discussions and creation of requirements documentsCreate generic as well as custom solutions per client needs as well as feasibility per Darwin systems capability and scalability in ongoing modeUnderstand the SOW, scope agreed and SLAs agreed with client – connect with CRM and Sales teamDocument various client requirements for Health i.e. benefits design Specifications, data requirements, payroll and vendor reports requirements, admin requirements, branding & comms requirements and acquire client signoff before system configuration.Create work requests by JIRA, test planning, test execution, retest to closure, loading of client data, validation of data, testing, warranty period timelines & criteria for defectsWork closely with PM, client & consultants to review & finalize flex scheme design to ensure no gaps with the technologySupport employee communicationsInvolve Admin team in requirement reviewsEnsure smooth transition to Admin post client live date – provide first payroll supportUnderstand and implement Change management process for any post live changes from clientUnderstand the project budget, agreed scope and estimated effort needed  Understand Project budgeting, SOW terms agreed with clientDevelop understanding around the Market landscape, insurance providers, competition, MMB presence, future strategy of the country supportingEstablish connections with Project manager, Sales and CRMs onshoreUnderstand the project revenue impactedUnderstand the impact of scope creepEnd to end understanding of the HEALTH Impl lifecycle – including Broking, consulting and Admin ServicesEnable efficient operations through continuous process improvement ideas  Drive overall HEALTH implementations strategy in the region.Lead team of Business Analysts, enabling the team with client communications, escalation management and handling business complexities and other relevant skillsBe the key point driver for India Business Analyst role development and establishment as a POC for other MMB countries

Communication

Organize requirement related meetings and follow-up after meetings: Produces clear actions/minutes from meetings and circulates accordinglyOwn communication on projects/client assigned: pro-actively inform project stakeholders about status of work

Process Management

Adhere to the project process as laid out in Implementation User Manual.Understand and ensure compliance to Service Level Agreements as agreed with the client and business counterparts.

Growth/Development

New topics: be able to perform research of any work related topics for projects or meetings using internal toolsSeeks out opportunities for self to be assigned to different projects to demonstrate and develop new and existing skillsActively attend team trainings: Health™ related knowledge session, Technology product updatesProve responsibility for own development: keep objectives tracker updated, ask 360 feedback from colleagues as agreed with line manager, keep Health skills tracker updated, identify new areas to develop

Ability to read, write, understand and communicate system requirements documentation2+ years of experience in business analysis & requirements elicitation in client delivery environmentsB.Tech / MCA/ B.Sc.(IT) / BCA from reputable institute in any streamCSM, CBAP certifications - advisedProven Stakeholder and Vendor management skills, Effective Time management, analytical and problem solving skillsPrevious experience of Employee Benefits, brokerage or managing the delivery of HR information system is an advantage.Health knowledge is a plusProficient verbal and written communication skills in EnglishStrong customer focus and detail orientedDomain: Sound understanding of Health benefits and end-end benefit administration processes including interfacing on Health
