Job Description:
L3Harris Technologies Inc. is seeking a Logistics Senior Specialist with experience in providing contractor logistics support on systems under sustainment to join our team in providing Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities on the Ground Based Radar Maintenance and Sustainment Service (GMASS) contract. Logistics support is for both the sustainment of PARCS and UEWR fielded systems and system modification and upgrade projects
Essential Functions:
The Logistics Senior Specialists duties include but are not limited to:
+ Perform full Lifecycle Agile SW/HW Development Logistics Support.
+ Develop analysis using logistics tools and metrics to support and conduct sparing/provisioning analysis.
+ Record logistics management information utilizing E-Quip integrated logistics support software system.
+ Lead efforts to develop stock listing EDFP (Engineering Data for Provisioning) packages.
+ Lead effort to develop Support Equipment Requirement Documents (SERD). Manage calibration requirements for assigned equipment.
+ Support the technical order, engineering drawing, and Build of Material (BOM) development process.
+ Support REMSEC (Remanence Security) analysis studies. Manage the repair cycle process for on-equipment, off-equipment, and associated spares.
+ Analyze technical data, failure analysis reports, and original equipment manufacturing notices to determine/formulate recommendations regarding system sparing, repair cycle venues, failure corrective actions, and sustainable replacement items. Receive, track, document, status, and store parts in all phases of the repair cycle.
+ Lead efforts in development of Life Cycle Product Support Task Performance Metrics.
+ Assist DMSMS Engineers, as required, in analysis for the GMASS-covered systems and their subcomponents; track and analyze supportability and obsolescence issues for (OEM) hardware, firmware, and software; provide support services for changes in COTS products to include patches, upgrades, maintenance agreements, warranties, support agreements, licenses, and/or migration to newer technologies; maintain (EOL) and (EOS) configuration management information in the (SAR) for all hardware.
+ Prepare, deliver, implement, and maintain an Obsolescence and (DMSMS) Management program, applying guidance for best practices provided in SD-22, for managing the loss, or impending loss, of trusted manufacturers or suppliers of parts.
+ Provides supply support through material research, ordering, warranty tracking, packaging, handling, storing, and transporting.
Qualifications:
+ Active SECRET security clearance.
+ Must be able to obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC).
+ Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. .
+ Ability to travel both CONUS & OCONUS, up to 10%.
Preferred Additional Skills:
+ Previous experience supporting Logistics activities for the GMASS systems (PARCS and/or UEWR).
+ Experience developing and presenting logistics product technical documentation. Outstanding communication (written and verbal) skills and be capable of developing and presenting reports and presentations to the project teams, weapon system management and customer personnel in a clear, articulate, and concise manner.
+ Experience with Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Sources (DMSMS).
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite to include Excel, Power Point, and Word.
+ Working knowledge in acquisition life cycle processes, product development, and Life Cycle Cost modeling.
+ Understand drawing and specification hierarchy and development; Familiar with ASME-Y14.100 and all equivalent guidance pertaining to engineering drawings.
+ Working knowledge of technical order development, content, and change activities.
+ Working knowledge of Reliability, Availability, & Maintainability (RAM) modeling.
+ Familiar with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR) policies and procedures.
+ Working knowledge of maintenance contracts management and procedures for warranty repairs.
+ Familiar with electronics equipment maintenance practices and procedures.
+ Prior experience in providing contractor logistics support on systems under sustainment
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado is $64,500 - $120,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
