**Job Description**
How would you like to deepen your expertise within Indirect Tax and Direct Tax accounting and bring your expertise and knowledge in this field and work for one of the most recognized and loved brands in their Prague office on a 12-month contract?
**Core Responsibilities**
+ Coordination of EMEA VAT and CIT compliance issues and questions, VAT and CIT accounting processes and initiation of continuous improvements
+ Preparation and Review of EMEA VAT returns, EU Sales Listing, and Intrastat returns, CIT returns
+ Indirect and Direct taxes reconciliation review, preparation, mentorship, and support
+ Close collaboration with business processes in indirect and direct taxes controls implementation
+ Monitoring and revision of key tax controls and resolve or raise identified risks.
+ Participate in and support indirect and direct tax audits and coordinate the exception report process.
+ Proactively collaborate with the more junior members of the team
**Play your part in our team succeeding**
The LEGO Group has established the Business Services Organization (BSO) for its various functions in three global centres, one of them is in Prague. In this role, you would be part of the Tax Operations team within the finance function in the BSO. You will be collaborating the Global Strategic Tax department to serve the EMEA tax region which covers more than thirty company codes and the same number of tax registrations in across the region.
**Do you have what it takes?**
We are searching for a candidate who is a professional with certification in accounting and with specialization in Indirect Tax or Direct tax.
We are seeking a highly organized and analytical individual who demonstrates strong diligence and a focus on business operations. This person optimally communicates results and recommendations.
Advanced English both written and verbal would be ideal as we are an internationally gathered team.
