Responsibilities

The Senior Specialist Technology Audit will serve as a regulatory and internal controls subject matter expert. This position will work closely with the internal process owners, and other stakeholders in support of the company’s internal control practices, minimizing and monitor risks to the organization.

 

Conduct audits of IT systems, applications, and infrastructure to assess risks and controls.Lead and manage technology audit projects across Ascension’s portfolio.Develop risk and control documentation for financial reporting and other compliance needs.Tracking audit issues and remediation plans for trends and development of summary reports for management.Stay current with emerging technologies, threats, and regulatory changes.

Requirements

Education:

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
degree/Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific
experience required. 2 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
Additional Preferences Bachelor’s degree preferredSix or more years of relevant work experience, with experience in information security controls and processes and Big Four experience desirable.Industry certifications including CIA, CISSP, CRISC or CISA are preferred.Extensive knowledge of internal controls and strong competency in accounting, finance and information technology preferredKnowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley Act, COSO, COBIT, NIST, and other control regulations and Frameworks preferredExcellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
