Qualifications 10+ years Database Administration experience; should have experience in test, development, and production instances. In-depth knowledge of SQL server versions 2016/2017/2019 and above, with SSIS/SSRS/SSAS. Experience with database migrations of SQL servers from older to newer versions. Experience in configuring and maintaining SQL Always ON is required. Ability to execute performance monitoring and experience in performance tuning using dmvs, perfmon and other tools is required. Proactively monitor databases and identify potential problems. Managing backup and recovery processes to ensure data integrity and availability. Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand complex database queries. Troubleshooting database issues and providing technical support to users. Optimize database systems for performance efficiency. Prepare design specifications and functional documentation for assigned database projects. Ensure data quality and integrity in databases. Performing regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Installing, configuring, and maintaining SSL certificates for secure connections to SQL Server instances. Monitoring SSL certificate expiration dates and proactively renewing certificates to prevent service disruptions. Evaluate existing database and recommend improvements for performance efficiency. Develop best practices for database design and development activities.
