Kforce is looking for a Senior Staff Accountant for an onsite, direct hire opportunity with an organization in Lenexa, KS. Responsibilities: * Senior Staff Accountant will reconcile sub-ledger accounts to general ledger for all companies * Participate in month-end close process * Journal entries and other general accounting * Research and analytical problem solving * Be detail oriented, reliable, and well organized * Work independently and in a team environment with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness * Respond to Company branch inquiries in a timely and professional manner * Prepare summary financial information and ad hoc reporting to management as needed * Possess good computer skills and demonstrate the ability to learn new computer functionality * As a Senior Staff Accountant, you will work well with others through all methods of communication * External audit assistance and preparation of schedules * Special projects as needed * Other duties as assigned
