As the Senior Staff Cloud Architect, you will work across teams of skilled software engineers building services and web applications that support our medical devices, mobile applications, partner integrations, and data analytics. You will partner with teams, both local and abroad, to research, architect, design, prototype and guide the development of world class and data centric web services and applications software used in medical device and treatment use cases.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical leadership in the development of Internet-of-Things, containerized deployments, and machine learning solutions.Work closely with business stakeholders, lead engineers, Cloud Ops, and Cloud Security to design high-quality, performant, scalable, secure Cloud solutionsEvaluate new technologies and explore solution alternatives; develop prototypesMentor and motivate software developers to build solutions using architecture and software best practicesLearn and follow Insulet design assurance SOPsProvide timely support to team customers, internal and externalProduce and deliver software architecture documentation in accordance with industry practicesMinimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or above in Computer Science or Electrical and Computer Engineering or other related fields10+ years software development experience in a commercial product development settingSignificant experience designing and developing Java applications that leverage AWS servicesSignificant experience with multiple database types, e.g. relational, document, time-based, and best applications for each typeComfortable talking about technical topics with business stakeholders and business topics with technical staff. Able to express complex concepts in plain language to reach broader audiences.Preferred Skills and Competencies:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $163,050.00 - $244,575.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
