Initial 12 month fixed term contract hybrid role based in Carrigtwohill, Cork, Ireland
**Who we want-**
**Analytical problem solvers.** People who go beyond just fixing to identify root causes, evaluate optimal solutions, and recommend comprehensive upgrades to prevent future issues.
**Collaborative partners.** People who build and leverage cross-functional relationships to bring together ideas, information, use cases, and industry analyses to develop best practices.
**Effective communicators.** People who can interpret information clearly and accurately to concisely communicate results and recommendations to stakeholders, senior management, and their teams.
**What you will do-**
You will lead network analytical modeling. You will be responsible for translating network modeling results into analytical insights that drive financial and business case recommendations to Senior GQO Leadership. You will oversee multiple large-scale, complex Plant Network initiatives as Stryker grows the manufacturing network to enable $30 BN sales revenue.
You will create and run multiple scenarios to understand and optimize for the impact of key business changes including: acquisitions, network changes, growth scenarios, OEE; interpreting those changes and providing insights to enable manufacturing network optimization.
A key part of the role will be the development of these models through use of key business intelligence, supply chain data and **Coupa Supply Chain modelling software SCGx and DG** . In some instances, this data will not readily be available and the role will need to work with operations to harness that data, understand key data requirements and build models based on those inputs.
The modeler will need to be able to break down the outputs of models to non-technical stakeholders in easy to understand business language. This role will support key plant network projects and aid decision making around our plant network needs to ensure assumptions are valid and when executed, those projects will deliver as per those assumptions. When setting up a supply chain model, there's an almost endless list of requirements to meet, and as the number of SKUs, plants, and customers grows, the model's complexity increases exponentially.
The role of the modeler is to manage this complexity and ensure that the models are fit for purpose without being overly engineered. The role will utilize the Coupa Supply Chain Design and Planning Software.
+ Develop Supply Chain models based on Plant Network factoring inputs from multiple sources. Load and run supply chain models within the **Coupa Supply Chain Design and Planning software SCGx and DG**

+ Test and validate new calculations, reports and visualizations. Document the modelling approach, data sources, assumptions and constraints within the models
+ Help build and create a sustainable model for data and analytics, look at all aspects of D&A to build better insights and help build a confidence in data sources to provide reliable data modelling and visualizations
+ Collaborate and partner with other data and analytics teams to ensure a common approach and consistency to D&A. Avoid duplication of effort across data and analytics
+ Ability to calibrate the model so it reflects reality, need for confidence in the models integrity
**What you need –**
+ Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering or a related technical field, required
+ 5 years of experience entailing a deep understanding of the principles and practices of Supply Chain Modelling, Network Design and Data Analytics.

+ Working knowledge of business intelligence and analytics platforms (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, etc), required
+ Previous experience of Coupa Software or similar supply chain modelling software essential
