Ford Model E Infotainment team is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Engineering Manager to build a team for system integration, developing test automation and validation. The team will be responsible to create integration tests, build benches to validate the infotainment system and ensure the features confirm to the requirements. 

What you have…

B.S. in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.  2+ years of experience of managing and leading engineering teams in automotive or consumer electronics domain.  5+ years of hands-on experience in software development and testing practices.  Experience working on vehicle features and testing.  Proficient in python.  Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.  Strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for innovation.

What you'll do…

Hire, lead, mentor and inspire a team of highly skilled engineers  Foster a collaborative and high performing team culture that embraces innovation and continuous improvement.  Define and drive technical roadmap for having a fully featured set of integration tests and hardware.   Help the software development lifecycle during requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing and deployment.  Collaborate closely with product managers, designers and other stakeholders to define test specification and ensure thorough validation of the vehicle software.  Champion engineering best practices, including code reviews and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).  Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices.  Manage team performance, conduct performance reviews and identify opportunities for professional growth and development.
