As a proficient security software engineer, your expertise will be instrumental in the development of cutting-edge Wi-Fi solutions.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage various security certification projects from initiation to completionEngage in security standard validation initiatives, contributing expertise to ensure compliance with regulatory standardsDevelop system software that complies to FIPS-140, LINCE, and/or Common Criteria Perform comprehensive security analyses to identify potential vulnerabilities and strengthen overall system securityCollaborate on the design of product architecture, integrating FIPS requirements seamlessly to meet security objectivesAnalyse system logic at a holistic level, ensuring alignment with FIPS standards and best practicesAssess cryptographic algorithms for compliance and efficiency, ensuring they meet FIPS standards and operational requirementsPerform thorough reviews of source code to identify and rectify security flaws and adherence to FIPS guidelinesRequirementsProven experience in leading and obtaining various security certificatesKnowledge of FIPS-140, LINCE, or Common Criteria requirementsUnderstanding of security protocols such as SSH, IPsec, TLSFamiliarity with certificates and attributesExperience with cryptographic encryption, key exchange, hashing/authentication algorithmsFamiliarity with PKI, OpenSSL, and random number generatorsStrong knowledge of Linux subsystems and networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, IPsec etc.)Hands-on experience with programming languages such as C, C++, and Python.Extensive experience in developing embedded applications for Linux, participation in design, implementation, testing, maintenance, enhancement, and support of complex software modules.Solid verbal and written communications skills, positive attitude and is a team player.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.5-15+ years of prior relevant experience$90,000 - $140,000 a year
