The Job At-A-Glance:

Q2 is seeking a Senior Staff Full-Stack Developer who will be integral to a small, top-talent team tasked with leading and supporting a multi-faceted and widely used developer portal. You will help plan, design, develop, test, debug, and deploy distributed, highly available applications and services. Our front-end is built using Blazor/Razor, Bootstrap Our back-end is built using C# and modern .NET. We host our environment in AWS and leverage a Postgres database. We are looking for a full-stack developer that has exceptional full-stack and testing skills and can manage a continuously growing scope. 

A Typical Day:

Adhere to agile software development and continuous delivery methodologies 

Research, architect, and build sub-systems that successfully integrate with new and existing platforms 

Dissolve complex requirements into meaningful, manageable units of work AND be able to coach other team members into the same pattern 

Thrive on a small team of highly skilled, motivated peers by providing strong development skills as well as coaching and mentorship skills 

Apply advanced design patterns and technologies when appropriate without over-engineering solutions 

Own the responsibility of developing high quality software with the right balance of test automation 

Responsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality and privacy policies and controls are adhered to 

Communicate and document efforts to both technical and non-technical audiences 

Ability to leverage existing Q2 technologies as well as refine by providing constructive and valuable product feedback 

Manage infrastructure deployments and overall application observability  

Bring Your Passion, Do What You Love. Here’s What We’re Looking For:

Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience 

Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 8+ years of experience; or equivalent related work experience. 

Expert level proficiency coding in C# and .NET, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS 

Demonstrated experience supporting a server-side rendering project 

Mastery of a front-end framework (e.g., Ember, Aurelia, Angular, React) 

Experience with Python development and Git 

Experience with test automation frameworks such as xunit. 

Practical experience with Domain Driven Design and SOLID principles 

Qualifications that make you stand out over others: 

Domain knowledge and experience in the banking industry 

Experience designing and developing highly scalable, enterprise-grade, event-driven systems 

Experience with build and deployment automation (e.g. Gitlab CI/CD, Docker) 

This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
