Your Team, Your Impact

Validation team: Responsible for bring up, debug and characterize silicon level Marvell’s internal IPs such as High-Speed SerDes, PLL/DLL, ADC, etc. in various Marvell products. Evaluate and debug new features in PHY, develop driver firmware, collect performance data, and resolve application/production issues including SAS and PCIe products. Support internal SoC, FAE and ATE team on testing and system level debugging. Provide direct technical support to top tier customers and work with them to review designs, discuss questions and help tune performance to meet system requirement. Work includes but not limited to develop and execute bench level validation test plans, develop script to automate testing, generate appropriate test report and write application notes. Provide technical support to customers. Act as a primary technical interface between the company and customers. Qualify design activity at the customer engineering level and participate in the definition of new products and the identification of niche areas that present new opportunities for Marvell. Make new product recommendations to Design/Marketing teams at Marvell.

What You Can Expect

Lab Operations & Maintenance:Oversee daily lab operations, including maintaining equipment, ensuring cleanliness, and managing lab supplies.Coordinate with engineering teams to schedule lab time and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.Ensure all lab equipment is calibrated and functioning correctly, performing routine checks and troubleshooting as needed.Equipment Setup & Testing:Set up and operate a variety of semiconductor testing equipment, including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.Conduct detailed measurements and tests on semiconductor devices, components, and systems.Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to engineers, highlighting any anomalies or issues.Process Development & Optimization:Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and refine testing processes for new semiconductor technologies.Implement process improvements to enhance lab efficiency and accuracy, reducing downtime and increasing throughput.Assist in the development of test protocols and ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices.Technical Support:Provide technical support and guidance to junior lab technicians and engineers.Train lab personnel on proper equipment usage, safety protocols, and testing procedures.Act as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting complex technical issues within the lab.Safety & Compliance:Ensure all lab activities comply with company safety policies and industry regulations.Conduct regular safety audits and maintain documentation related to lab safety and compliance.Implement and enforce safety protocols to protect lab personnel and equipment.

What We're Looking For

Education:Associate's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.Experience:Minimum of 7-10 years of experience working in a semiconductor lab environment.Extensive hands-on experience with semiconductor testing equipment and tools.Proven track record in lab management, including equipment maintenance, process development, and team coordination.Technical Skills:Proficient in the use of semiconductor testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.Strong understanding of semiconductor technology, including device physics and materials science.Familiarity with data analysis software and tools used in semiconductor testing and characterization.Soft Skills:Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Other Requirements:Ability to lift and move lab equipment as needed.Willingness to work flexible hours to meet project deadlines.Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized lab environment.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

67,200 - 100,600, $ per annum

The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
