Senior Stock Plan Administrator

We are seeking to hire a Senior Stock Plan Administrator to join Snap Inc! We’re looking for a proactive, self-directed person who can manage the overall activities of equity compensation administration and lead employee education initiatives.

You’ll collaborate with HR, Finance, Compensation, and Legal teams to ensure seamless plan execution and improve employee engagement through clear effective communication.

What you’ll do:

Assist with day to day equity administration and accounting tasks and projects

Prepare stock based compensation (SBC) accounting journal entries, reconciliations and flux analysis

Work closely with the transfer agent and broker to execute tasks

Help ensure the proper taxation is applied to all equity exercises and releases

Assist with the preparation of all relevant equity transactions such as exercises, releases, equity compensation from M&A deals, SBC, and intercompany recharge

Prepare monthly equity gain and tax withholding reconciliations for all payrolls to ensure proper reporting

Assist with the reporting, reviewing and tracking of 10b5-1 trading plans

Prepare proxy disclosures and equity disclosures for SEC filings

Maintain share pool balances

Manage and respond to inquiries related to stock-based compensation data transactions

Help ensure compliance with 404 SOX requirements for the equity process  

Play a key role in general process improvements and process documentation for all facets related to compensation accounting

Assist with the mobility program and international reporting compliance from an equity perspective

Provide support for ad hoc analyses and other projects as needed

Develop and deliver educational programs to help employees understand their equity compensation 

Create training materials, FAQs, and webinars covering stock plan benefits, taxation, and financial planning

Actively answer employee equity related inquiries 

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

A pro-active, self-directed person who can manage the overall activities of equity compensation administration including variance analysis and process improvement

Outstanding analytical, communication, and organizational skills

Excellent business judgment, strategic thinking, and ability to manage multiple matters

Detail-oriented, business-friendly team player with an ability to accommodate tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Experience with U.S. federal and state taxation relating to equity compensation and general knowledge of global taxation of equity compensation preferred

Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLookUp’s, etc.)

Experience in designing and delivering employee education initiatives
 

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with excellent academic credentials

5+ years of stock administration or relevant experience

5+ years of experience related to data analysis

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):

The base salary range for this position is $130,000-$196,000 annually.


 

Zone B:

The base salary range for this position is $124,000-$186,000 annually.

Zone C:

The base salary range for this position is $111,000-$167,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
